When lockdown was announced in March in 2020 online seed websites struggled to meet demand.
The likes of Suttons and Thompson & Morgan reported longer delays for deliveries because of high demand for those who were trying their hand at gardening during lockdown.
It may be the middle of winter but gardeners across the country are already planning for Spring and online seed sites are stocking up.
Amazon
Amazon is still selling some sets of flowers including smaller pots for children and bee bombs - packs of seeds that grow into flowers that are ideal for bees. There are also butterfly-friendly flower sets but many of the options will take around 14 days to deliver as the internet giant prioritises essentials for delivery.
Suttons
Suttons is a massive online superstore for seeds, plants and flowers, and it is currently holding a sale on flowers, fruit and vegetable plants, and gardening accessories.
Suttons has also launched mystery boxes, with a £20 box filled with £75 worth of gardening items and seeds, and a £37.50 box featuring items worth £150.
The site is also full of growing guides and tips for all year round.
