Coronation Street fans were left wanting to take a pause as they made the same observation about Craig Tinker as he was seen doing some policing on the cobbles. The copper was seen on the street after being made aware of reports that Mason Radcliffe had possession of a knife.
Ever since his arrival on the cobbles last month, Weatherfield High student Mason has been causing trouble and leading Dylan Wilson astray. It started with Liam Connor ending up in hospital after trying a vape before Mason and his pals were also seen picking on Ruby Dobbs.
Mason and Dylan were then later seen in The Rovers with some mates, despite the pub not being open, and last week, also mocking Amy Barlow's planned peaceful protest. Now, the trouble instigated by Mason has continued and this time, it got scarily serious. During Wednesday night's (November 22) episode of the long-running soap, Liam was accused of grassing Mason up for stealing Dylan Wilson's trainers.

Liam's stepfather Gary Windass threatened Mason in the previous episode, and he believed he had dealt with the problem. However, it wasn't enough to stop Mason as he once again turned on Liam over his run-in with Gary.
As Liam walked home he was cornered by Mason and his friends, including Dylan, and they soon began an attack on him, throwing items at him and pouring rubbish onto him before Liam was thrown to the ground.
Liam was in tears and things only got worse as when he got up, the teenager had a knife pointed at him. Mason threatened him with the blade before eventually letting him go. Liam later confided in younger step-brother Jake that he'd been attacked and threatened.
Later, Mason was stopped by PC Craig Tinker following reports he was in possession of a bladed article. But the copper found nothing and in the meantime, Liam discovered it was Jake who called the police. And while Liam's bullying hell continued, Corrie fans were distracted by Craig.
@StVitusDance asked: "Hang on is Tinker back on the beat? #Corrie." @JillyCL said: "#Corrie Just catching up and I see Craig has regressed to uniform! He was promoted to plain clothes CID. What happened?" @mikepriestley13 added: "'Copper Craig' is back in his officer uniform and not CiD anymore. I just wish he wasn’t a copper anymore. #Corrie."
Others, however, noticed another problem with PC Tinker's efforts to search Mason. @TweetieeTy wrote: "What kind of search was that? No wonder Craig got demoted." @Carol44698330 commented: "For a know it all supercop Craig your search technique needs some work #corrie."
@CentralCeeSocks posted: "PC Craig only searched the top half of Mason #Corrie." @DavidJosephLaw2 shared: "What a s**t search that was, Craig hardly did anything and that other one didn't go through his bag that quick. #corrie." @ItsAlitha added: "Imagine he had a whole bag and Craig was caressing his arms instead of doing a proper search #corrie."
