Droylsden

On the eastern fringe of Manchester, Droylsden grew up as a cotton mill town and its historic roots are evidenced in the Moravian settlement at Fairfield. A new marina, by the side of the Ashton canal, was opened in 2007 and has provided new homes as well as moorings for canal boats.
