A cordon is in place around a house in Rochdale this morning after a fire broke out and 10 properties were evacuated.
The blaze broke out at a terraced house on Oldham Road at around 3.50am on Friday (November 17). The M.E.N understands that no-one was believed to have been in the house at the time.
A spokesperson for the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said the fire spread to the roof void. A row of 10 houses had to be evacuated as the fire was extinguished.

This morning, a cordon remains around the scene of the blaze on Oldham Road. A multi-agency investigation into the cause is now underway.
Pictures and video clips showed a large emergency response to the fire this morning, with four fire engines and multiple police cars on the scene. The front of the house has been left charred and blackened from the smoke.
In a statement, a GMFRS spokesperson said: "At 03.52 this morning four fire engines from Rochdale, Heywood, and Chadderton fire stations and the fire service drone attended a fire involving a mid-terraced house on Oldham Road, Rochdale. The fire spread to the roof void and required the evacuation of ten adjacent properties in the early hours.
"Firefighters extinguished the fire and have now left the scene, but a cordon remains in place as the multi-agency investigation into the cause of the fire begins."
