Two people were taken to hospital after a head-on crash between a bus and a car in Droylsden.
The smash happened at the junction of North Road and Holly Street at around 10.15pm last night (November 15). Police officers, paramedics and fire crews were called to the scene as the road was blocked off.
A spokesperson for the North West Ambulance Service said two people - including a female passenger in the car - were taken to hospital from the scene. The female suffered a head injury.

Pictures showed both vehicles head-on in the road after the crash, with both the bus and car left badly damaged. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: "On the 15th November at 10.15pm, two fire engines from Philips Park and Blackley attended a road traffic collision on Holly Street, Droylsden.
"Crews attended quickly and made the scene safe. They assisted North West Ambulance with three casualties on scene.
"Two casualties were conveyed to hospital by North West Ambulance service. Crews were in attendance for one hour."
A spokesperson for the North West Ambulance Service said: "We took two patients to hospital, including a female passenger in the car who suffered a head injury."
