I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here viewers were left wondering if they'd missed a specific moment as they tried to work out when Fred Sirieix and Nella Rose seemingly made up. The pair were the first to face tension in camp after Fred offended Nella with a throwaway remark.
Earlier this week, just days into the 2023 run of the ITV reality show, viewers were surpised when YouTuber Nella woke up unimpressed with First Dates star Fred, who was busy cooking rice for the campmates' breakfast. He tried to offer her some but she didn't acknowledge him and asked her other campmates why he kept calling her.
Fred eventually went over to talk to her and it gave Nella the chance to air her issue with the restaurateur. Nella explained he'd made a comment the day before, saying: "You know that my mum's dead, and you know that my dad's dead. You know that, right?

"I've come to find out that every time I wanna get creative around the fire, or I want to have something my way, my own food that I am entitled to, my way, you tend to get an attitude, right? So yesterday, when I wanted to burn fat that you were going to throw away anyways, it's not even something that we needed to survive in camp, you turned around to me, with an attitude and said, 'You know I could be your dad, right?'"
But after his apology, Nella still refused to speak to Fred and requested they live out their time in camp separately. However, during Thursday night's (November 23) trip Down Under, the pair ended up teaming up to complete a challenge. Nella volunteered to take part in a challenge titled Slam Dunk’d before Fred offered to join her as the campmates were divided in a 'Home and Away' trial.
In the Bush Telegraph, fellow campmate Danielle Harold said: “They’ve been quiet, not talking for a couple of days. I think this will bond them even closer, for sure, I hope."
The pair, representing the Home camp, competed in the head-to-head challenge against Nick Pickard and Marvin Humes – the Away camp – hours after the 10 campmates were split into two teams. They took it in turns to dunk their opponents in an ice tank and score points, with Rose and Sirieix later discovering they had won the challenge by four points.
The pair exchanged high fives during the competition and shared a hug at the end of the challenge. Nella, who compared Sirieix to basketball players Kobe Bryant and LeBron James, said: "I think we were an absolutely great team, I think we smashed it.2
But I'm A Celeb fans are unsure if they missed the scenes in which Nella made things up with Fred. One viewer said on X: "Have Fred and Nella had a heart to heart or did she just start talking to him ? #ImaCeleb." Another asked: "When did Nella and Fred become friends #ImaCeleb #Nella?"
A third commented: "Omg?? Wait i didn't expect Nella and Fred to get along so well for that challenge? Pleasant surprise #ImaCeleb" while a fourth added: "It’s nice to see nella and fred getting along again #ImaCeleb."
