Littleborough
Littleborough is part of the borough of Rochdale and is nestled in the foothills of the picturesque south Pennines. The town was an Urban District from 1894 until it became part of Rochdale in 1974. Its great tourist attraction is Hollingworth Lake, where rowing, sailing and wind surfing take place. Littleborough's stone-built town centre is a designated conservation area because of its special architectural qualities.
