Rodri has eased fears of an injury as he was included in Spain's starting XI for their final Euro 2024 qualifier vs Georgia.
Spain are already qualified for the Euros, and can seal a top seed spot ahead of Scotland as long as they match the Scots' result against Norway. They host fourth-placed Georgia on Sunday, and have been boosted by Rodri's return to fitness after missing their win at Cyprus last week.
Rodri was left out of that game, apparently after reporting a discomfort, but was back in contention on Sunday to finally give City some good injury news during the international break.

So far, Nathan Ake, Ederson, Mateo Kovacic, Matheus Nunes and Erling Haaland have all picked up injuries or withdrew from international duty for fitness reasons. They join Kevin De Bruyne, John Stones and Sergio Gomez on the growing injury list.
An injury to Rodri would have been felt more than others, especially considering City lost three games from three when he was suspended last month.
But having returned for Spain, City can breathe a little easier, and hope he reports back at City with a clean bill of health ready to face Liverpool in the Premier League on Saturday.
City currently sit top of the Premier League and will have the opportunity to extend their lead over second-placed Liverpool on Saturday. The last time the two sides met at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League it was City who came out on top with a comfortable 4-1 win.
