Manchester City reportedly observed Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia during Georgia's 3-1 defeat to Spain in Euro 2024 qualifying.

According to 90min, City's representatives were alongside those from Manchester United, Newcastle and Chelsea in appreciating the Serie A talent. It is understood there were a number of players featuring in the game who were of interest to the Premier League clubs but Kvaratskhelia was the man under the most intense scrutiny.

The Napoli man was a key player last season as his team won Serie A. In partnership with Victor Osimhen, Kvaratskhelia was lethal in terms of goals and assists, scoring 12 and setting up 13 in just 34 appearances.

City's scouts would likely have been impressed with what they saw from the 22-year-old as he scored his country's only goal of the game against a talented Spanish team. The Blues may need to work quick in order to sign Kvaratskhelia though as he is reportedly in talks about extending his contract by a further year to 2027.

This season, he has scored three goals and grabbed five assists in Italy. Elsewhere, City are reportedly interested in signing Savinho from fellow City Football Group side Troyes.

The 19-year-old Brazilian is currently on loan at Girona and is enjoying a good campaign with five goals and four assists in 14 matches. Mundo Deportivo understands his form has caught the eye of City and the Blues will have the 'priority' to sign the winger should they wish to.

Barcelona are also thought to be keen on the teenager but they are said to be at a disadvantage because the Blues want to keep Savinho as part of the City Group.
