Honest Burgers in Manchester is launching a Guinness-laden burger as a meal kit in time for St Patrick's Day.
The Bridge Street burger joint, which opened here in 2019, is partnering up with Handsome Burger in Ireland and Guinness for the limited-edition kit.
Each Paddy's Day at Home kit will come with everything you need to build a 'best of Ireland' burger in your own kitchen.
The recipe boxes will start with an Honest burger beef patty, and will include Guinness candied bacon, shoestring fries, Kylemore Farmhouse cheese, 'Handsome Sauce' and Guinness bacon gravy.
Honest Burgers will also be chucking in an Irish twist on their rosemary chips, with a rosemary chip colcannon.
To wash it all down will be a can of Guinness stout for every burger purchased.
Honest Burgers head of collaboration Adam Layton said: "Working with an iconic brand like Guinness is a privilege and Handsome has opened the doors to a great Irish cheesemaker we wouldn’t have discovered without them."
Neil Shah, head of Guinness GB, said: "It’s a pleasure to be collaborating with Honest Burgers and Handsome Burger on this fantastic at Home kit, marking a moment to celebrate Irish culture and heritage.
"Whilst we can’t head to the pub or enjoy a meal in a restaurant together right now, these kits are the perfect reason to be supporting the hospitality industry and enjoying a Guinness with delicious food, whether you’re celebrating St. Patrick’s Day or relishing with the rugby on."
Honest Burgers opened its very first site at Brixton Market in 2009, before branching out across London and beyond.
Its Manchester restaurant launched a decade later with a local special that included Bury black pudding and a beer cheese sauce.
Kits will be priced at £26 for two burgers, or £38 for four, plus £6 for delivery, and will go on sale at 9am on March 11 in limited quantities.
