It's derby day delight for Manchester City Women who have defeated neighbours Manchester United 3-1.
United took the lead through a Katie Zelem penalty and looked to have doubled it before Geyse's goal was disallowed after the ball had gone out of play.
United would rue that as a few minutes later the game had turned on its head. Jill Roord equalised from close range before Lauren Hemp scored a beauty to give City the lead.
A mistake from Mary Earps gifted Bunny Shaw the third and even a red card for defender Laia Aleixandri wasn't enough for United to get back into the game.

United are pressuring City but just can't get through. The ball fell nicely for Garcia but her volley was blocked.

Well, Garcia has certainly given United hope. She does brilliantly to escape a challenge and head goalwards before being dragged down by Aleixandri. It's a clear second yellow and the City centre-back is dismissed.

Skinner has thrown on Garcia for Malard to try and change things around but it's looking unlikely at present. City are controlling the game and remain the more likely to score.

Shaw is back on her feet and gets a third for City. It's terrible for Earps though, who is trying to clear the ball but kicks it right at Shaw and it rolls in.

It's been a scrappy start to the second half with neither team getting a hold of the ball or making any chances. Shaw is currently down with a painful-looking injury.

An entertaining half comes to an end. United took the lead and should have been two up before City turned things around.

Kelly is played through but takes her shot early and Eaprs is able to divert wide.

Geyse is played through on goal but opts to pass to Parris. It's cut out but Geyse is able to pick the ball back up and find the back of the net but the ball had gone out of play.

United have a penalty after Greenwood is penalised for handball after Malard's shot/

A lovely move from City sees Shaw played through on goal but Earps is out and stands strong to save the shot. Chances for both teams are coming in quick succession now.

United have a three-on-two advantage as Malard bursts forward with an excellent flick. Toone is played through but her attempted cut back to Geyse is under-hit and cleared.
13' 0-0: Earps gets away with one
Earps takes her time on the ball and her pass is flung into the air by a sliding tackle. United are able to clear their lines but a nervy moment.

City are having the most of possession and enjoyed a bright start. Good work from Shaw tees up Hemp but her shot is tame.

United can't clear their lines as City keep the ball alive after the corner, repeatedly heading it back into the box but it eventually lands in Earps' arms.
