Pendlebury
Pendlebury is a town in the borough of Salford in Greater Manchester. Lying four miles north west of Manchester city centre, it neighbours Swinton and Clifton and is the starting point of the A666. The town saw extensive coal extraction from several collieries until the closure of Agecroft Colliery in the 1990s. The colliery site is now home to the Agecroft Commerce Park.
