This week sees a host of tickets set to be released for a range of incredible artists, from powerhouses like Thirty Seconds to Mars and The National, to rising stars such as Seb Lowe and The Mary Wallopers.

The National - Castlefield Bowl, Manchester

The National will play a huge outdoor show at Manchester’s iconic outdoor amphitheatre, Castlefield Bowl next July, as part of Sounds of the City 2024.
Formed in New York in 1999, The National’s last five albums have all been in the Top 5 in the UK charts. 2023 has been another landmark year for the band, with the release of two studio albums: ‘First Two Pages of Frankenstein’ in April and a surprise companion album, ‘Laugh Track’, released in September. They celebrated these releases with a UK tour that included two sold-out nights at London’s Alexandra Palace.

Thirty Seconds to Mars - AO Arena, Manchester

Oscar-winning actor Jared Leto announced Thirty Seconds to Mars’ monumental Seasons 2024 world tour last week, by climbing up the Empire State Building in New York City to celebrate the band’s first headline tour in over five years.
Comprised of brothers Jared and Shannon Leto, Thirty Seconds to Mars made a triumphant return on September 15 with their sixth studio album, ‘It’s The End Of The World But It’s A Beautiful Day’. The album heralds a new era for the band, one that not only explores the darker sides of the human experience but the hope as well, an arresting reminder that even in the face of seemingly impossible obstacles, there is still beauty to be found in the world.

DJ, broadcaster and global dance music legend Pete Tong returns this month with his critically acclaimed Ibiza Classics show with Jules Buckley and featuring The Essential Orchestra.
Ibiza Classics has firmly cemented itself as part of the live music calendar becoming the world's most iconic orchestral electronic music event. The Mary Wallopers have announced their biggest UK dates so far due to massive public demand. Currently on a massive sold out tour of the UK and Ireland, the band have added five dates in March 2024, including a show at Manchester Academy.
The band’s second album – ‘Irish Rock’n’Roll’ - was recently released to universal acclaim, reaching the Top 40 in the UK and number two on the Irish Album Charts.

Rising British artist Seb Lowe has announced new 2024 UK tour dates, bringing his incredible live show to more cities across England.
Seb played shows across the UK for his first-ever headline tour this year and performed recent support slots with acclaimed artists Blossoms and Inhaler.
In September, Seb released his new single ‘Billionaire Extraordinaire’ – a euphoric indie pop song exploring the theme of the pressures young people face in modern life but also the uplifting message of facing these struggles together.

The Smile - O2 Apollo, Manchester

The Smile have announced a headline European tour for March 2024, as well as details of their brand-new album ‘Wall Of Eyes’ set for release on January 26.
The band’s new album is the follow-up to their 2022 debut LP ‘A Light For Attracting Attention’, which received critical acclaim from the likes of The Guardian, Pitchfork, The Observer, The Needle Drop, and many more.
The Smile played a series of brilliantly received live shows in the US and Mexico this past June and July, and released ‘Bending Hectic’ from the new album in June, having initially debuted the song at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 2022.

Stanleys - Manchester Academy

Wigan-born band Stanleys will play their biggest headline shows to date next week.
This follows a sold-out run of dates in May, where the quartet performed to raucous crowds in Newcastle, Glasgow, Cardiff and Southampton alongside a string of high profile festival performances including Liverpool Sound City and Neighbourhood Weekender.
Earlier this year, Stanleys performed alongside Inspiral Carpets at their sold-out Albert Hall show, as well as their first-ever festival headline spot, topping the bill at Isle of Wight Festival on the This Feeling stage.
