Framing Britney Spears is the television everyone's talking about this week, after finally airing in the UK.
The feature-length documentary looks back on the pop star's 28-year-long career, and explores the decade-long conservatorship that she has been under.
The singer has been trying to have her father removed from the conservatorship, which is a court-appointed guardianship usually reserved for elderly and infirm people, or anyone who cannot make their own decisions.
Produced by the New York Times, the documentary has become the most-watched programme in Sky Documentaries' history after being aired on Tuesday evening, according to the Metro.
More than 220,000 tuned in to look back on Britney's early career, following her journey all the way up to the present day.
The documentary features plenty of unearthed footage and interviews with Britney, in which she was asked about her appearance, her breasts, and her break-up with Justin Timberlake.
Although gripping viewing, many fans have said it's heartbreaking and 'painful to watch'.
It has also called into question the way that Britney Spears, and other female celebrities, were treated in the early 2000s.
The arrival of the documentary has triggered a new wave of support for the #FreeBritney movement, which has seen her fans back her legal battle to have her father removed from her conservatorship.
